About LAIMA
Advanced Practice Clinician
I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner, providing primary care for individuals and families across all stages of life. In addition to caring for patients, I also teach in higher education, helping train the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Being DNP-prepared means I have the highest level of clinical nursing education, with advanced training in patient care, prevention, and evidence-based practice. For my patients, that translates into care that is thoughtful, current, and focused on the whole person--not just a diagnosis.
I believe healthcare works best when patients feel heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to create a welcoming space where every patient truly matters and receives care designed around their unique needs.
